Our People

Dale OwensDale Owens, PhD - Founder
Dale's interest in computers began while in graduate school at the Georgia Institute of Technology. As part of his doctoral research, he programmed instruments for real-time data acquisition and display. Dale bought a personal computer in 1985 and his "hobby" soon became a vocation. After working in pharmaceutical R&D for many years, he left to start his own business in computer graphics and design. Recently, Dale's business has expanded to assisting companies with SEO and transitioning their operations to "cloud" computing. Since upgrading from his first computer, he has looked for ways to "recycle" unused computers and peripherals into useful tools for people who otherwise would not have access to them. reachIT.org is a way to help others reach their full potential and improve the community, while helping the environment by reducing e-waste.
